Andrew Stansbury submits Shreepad Joglekar

I have a personal affinity to Shreepad Joglekar's work -- he's my old photo instructor and a friend. But that doesn't change how much I appreciate and enjoy his work, as well as see him as an influential force in my own work. (I remember the time before he was hired, when as a student I was able to sneak a peek at potential candidates. His work was easily the best.)

With his current series of work Shifting Horizons, which deals with the destruction and construction of land (over long periods of time, for better or worse), are beautiful examples of minuscule landscapes, whose textures ripple and crack in desire for reclamation.
