Thomas Lopez submits Michael Levin

Michael Levin's work is so simple in its content but so visually stimulating as well. All the photos I found by him are back and white and many are taken when there was fog or mist. He is kind of like a modern version of Ansel Adams. Many of the photos are of things that ordinarily would not be beautiful but in the context of his photos he creates something beautiful out of them by catching them at the perfect moment when the fog and the light is just right. He takes things such as the concrete triangles and through his photos makes them look quite striking. There is something almost surreal about some of his work and it has an almost calming effect when I look at them. I think that the photos are also beautifully developed.
