Eddie Adams was a combat photographer in the Korean war and is best known for capturing the execution of a Vietcong prisoner. I have always had an interest in documentary photography and this image has always stuck with me.
Documentary photography has always been important to me because it not only captures a moment but it helps bring people's attention to issues in the world on a first person level.
